Translations into Hungarian
Hungarian, known as magyar, is a Uralic language and part of the Ugric group, and therefore also related to Finnish and Estonian. It is the most widely spoken non-Indo-European language in Europe and is spoken primarily in Hungary and in neighbouring countries (such as Slovakia, Romania and Serbia) in an area known as the Carpathian Basin.
Between 9.5 to 10 million of the 13 million native speakers live in present-day Hungary.
