Finnish (suomi or suomen kieli) is a member of the Finno-Ugric language family and is spoken by around six million people, the majority of which live in Finland. It is one of two official languages of Finland – the other is Swedish.
Finland is very much integrated in the global economy and is home to Nokia, the world’s largest manufacturer of mobile telephones. The key trading partners are Germany, Russia, United Kingdom, United States, Sweden, Netherlands and China.
